Shy Expat Architect Gains Clarity and Confidence

I met Ben a couple of years ago when we started a German language course and since then, from the first day, he has become a good friend.

He had always good advice for me and cooled me down when I struggled with bigger (and smaller) decisions. My uncertainty was always solved after even a small talk with him

This is what I always appreciate about him. He doesn’t criticise. He is really open-minded, listens and then gives suggestions based on his life experience and his understanding of your problem(s). This is why it is so easy to trust him. First, he is a friend, then a coach.

He joins those qualities together and that’s what makes it so comfortable to talk to him. I was always sceptical about “… all this coaching ‘stuff’…” thinking this is an unnecessary thing but with Ben, it just simply looks and feels different.

Of course, it doesn’t work like: after a couple of days, you know everything. It doesn’t look like this and it shouldn’t. Ben helps you find the right attitude, direction and helps you find ways to get what you need. He encourages and challenges you to do the next step. Not with fake encouragement, but in an authentic manner.

In all of this, he approaches you with this friendly, trustworthy way which he always had. He will be always a person that I will turn for help with reaching my goals.
